Do you file in every Canadian province?

Which province should I pick if I operate in more than one?
If you already do business in multiple provinces, federal incorporation is usually the better fit since it protects your name nationwide. Provincial incorporation is best when you operate in a single province.
Why do government fees differ by province?
Each provincial registry sets its own filing fee independently, which is why costs range from about $275 in Alberta to over $360 in Quebec.
Can I move my incorporation to another province later?
You can’t transfer a provincial incorporation directly, but you can register extra-provincially to operate elsewhere, or continue (transfer) into another jurisdiction in some cases. We can advise on the best path for your situation.
